Drugs that can do the impossible

How many situations have we experienced or considered as impossible or difficult to achieve in our work as pharmacists? Our profession has evolved considerably and faced significant challenges over time, which has forced us to reinvent and surpass ourselves to keep offering the best attention possible to patients even in adverse conditions (shortages, non-payments, constant changes in regulations, etc.). We have moved from formulating drugs to dispensing them, sustained tools like electronic prescriptions and stopped focusing on products to dedicate ourselves to the provision of professional assistance services to meet the requirements of our patients and changes in the health service. We have also obtained representation as a community in forums in which for years pharmacists were not included and, additionally, we succeeded in holding joint conferences with doctors to share our concerns and ways of working, as we have shown this year for the second time in the SEMERGEN-SEFAC Medical & Pharmaceutical National Congress
